Ich bin ein großer Fan von Chris und sehe seine unterhaltsamen und professionellen Kritiken gern, so war es für mich selbstverständlich das ich mir sein Buch kaufe. Leider ist das Buch nicht das was ich erwartet hatte. Ich dachte ich kaufe ein Buch mit detaillierten Kritiken seiner Lieblingsfilme, habe Anekdoten und Nerdwissen erwartet aber leider beschränkt sich Chris auf eine kurze Zusammenfassung des jeweiligen Films und wie er ihn damal erlebt hat. Ich will nicht sagen das es uninteressant ist aber an sich reicht es wenn man sich die jeweiligen Kritiken auf seinem YouTube Channel ansieht. Trotzdem möchte ich jedem Stuckmann Fan empfehlen das Buch zu kaufen um ihn und seine Sache zu unterstützen. Get Stuckmannized.
Chris Stuckmann, einem der bekanntesten Film-Kritiker auf YouTube (und damit meine ich, er kann davon leben und weitere Projekte verfolgen) hat sein erstes Buch geschrieben, welches jedoch stark unter seinem Layout-Stil (eine Seite mit einer stilisierten Schlüsselszene des Films, die andere mit einer Kurzkritik und einigen Credits des jeweiligen Films) leidet. Letztendlich nicht mehr als eine 50seitige Sammlung von Kurzkritiken (das man in weniger als einer Stunde durch hat). Hoffentlich wird Chris' nächstes Buch etwas umfangreicher und geht mehr in die Tiefe.Für Fans dennoch einen Blick wert.
Die Filme sind nicht von schlechtestem zu bestem sortiert, sondern chronologisch nach Erscheinungsdatum sortiert. Jeder Film wird in jeweils einer Seite kurz umrissen - ohne dabei zu spoilern - und beschrieben was ihn zu einem besonderem macht. Dabei ist immer Stuckmanns Begeisterung für die Kunst des Films zu spüren. Man bekommt sofort Lust, die unbekannten Filme zu entdecken und sich altbekannte Perlen mal wieder anzusehen.
